Automation Academy Training

In the interest of making Automation Academy more welcoming for newcomers, we are adjusting some learning paths and courses in automation training.

Here are the main changes we recently introduced, and which you might have already noticed.

Some courses have been renamed

These automation courses in the Power User learning path have new names:

Course renaming

Most courses have the same content as before the update, and any progress you have made in these courses is saved (so don’t worry!). The only exception is Automation Kit for Beginners, which has been completely updated — see more details below.

New course: Automation Kit for Enterprise

This week, we introduced an all-new course, Automation Kit for Enterprise, which is a successor to (and replacement for) the old “Power User Basics” course. This course reflects the evolution of the Intelligent Automation Cloud during the past two years and covers the following topics:

  • Functions of Intelligent Automation Cloud components

  • Analytics capabilities which are built-in to the tool

  • Running, modifying, scheduling, and analyzing business processes

  • Creating and executing manual tasks

Read more about the new course here.

Automation Kit for Enterprise replaces the old “Power User Basics” course in our learning paths, with the following exceptions:

  • Because it is designed for Enterprise edition users, it is no longer included in the Power User path

  • This course now concludes the Automation Business Lead path

Updated course: Automation Kit for Beginners

Automation Kit for Beginners is the former “Introduction to Intelligent Automation Cloud Express” course, but both renamed and revamped. All materials in the course have been updated based on the latest version of Intelligent Automation Cloud, and cover the following topics:

  • Installing and getting started with the Express edition of Intelligent Automation Cloud

  • The basics of creating automation scripts without coding

  • Distributed installation of the Business edition

  • Using server components to create, manage and run complex business processes

Updated Power User learning path

The Power User learning path now includes the following courses:

  • “Automation Kit for Beginners”

  • “Automating the Business Task”

  • “Automation Kit for SAP” (optional)

  • “Automating the Business Process”

  • “Power User Certification”

If you have any questions about these changes, or would like to give us your feedback, feel free to do so in the dedicated thread on the Community Forum.
